A typical day at camp looks something like this:
FOOD! Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Wake 2017 will be at SAGU University! This means no camp food! We will be enjoying great food all week in a food court type environment. There will be 2-3 different options for each meal along with soda, juice and desserts. We have experienced the food at SAGU and it is great!
Worship Services
When we ask students what their favorite part of camp is, most will say the worship services. Wake worship services are like nothing you have ever experienced before. God continually moves in huge ways through incredible worship led by the StoneWater Band and impactful teaching by Jeremy White and other StoneWater pastors.
Small Group Sessions
Small groups are age specific groups where 10-20 students get to spend time in a smaller more open setting. Students will be grouped with their peers and trained small group leaders and will have the opportunity to discuss what God is doing in their lives. Students will say that these sessions are one of the most impactful parts of camp.
Rec Time/Free Time
If you have been to a student camp before, you may have experienced rec time. This usually involves sports activities, group games and other fun events. Well....wake rec has all of that and so much more! We do rec StoneWater style which means we do wild and crazy things that you don't get to experience anywhere else. These things include 3 way water volleyball, american ninja warrior games, oversize inflatables, water wars and much more. You will have a blast during rec time at Wake! SAGU also offers 3 indoor basketball courts, an indoor pool, racquetball courts, glow in the dark dodgeball and more!
Late Night
Late night is a time at the end of each day when we do some sort of fun activity for all of the students. These activities can include ice cream dance parties, special guest appearances, power paint wars, swim parties, wild and crazy group games, oversized inflatables and other crazy activities. Students will experience things at late night that they have never experienced before. This is the time where we bring out the wild and crazy and have a blast together!!!!
